Bungoma Boys’ High School library building burnt down.

Bungoma Boys’ High School library building was burnt down,according to school chief principle , Enock Andanje, the fire burnt down the apartment building at around 5:00 am.
Adressing journalists the head of the inistitution stated that at the moment it is not clear what level of loss has resulted from the fire considering that everything inside the building burnt down.
The duke Media arrived at the scene of the tragedy, it is reported that parents and teachers have complained about the delay of disaster management officials in Bungoma County.
 As the high school teachers’ strike enters its second week, school fires have already started to be reported this weekend, one dormitory in Nambale Boys High School located in Busia County was burnt down and on the night of this Monday, a fire burned down the apartment building which is the library at Bungoma  Boys’ high School and burnt books and other teachers’ belongings.
According to Enock Andanje, the principal of Bungoma High School, nothing was saved. Andanje has assured parents that the children who had reported to school are safe. 
Parents who came to assess the real situation have asked high school teachers to stop the strike and return to the classroom to prevent more cases of school fires that they question may occur during this strike,the source of the fire has not been determined, police officers have started their  investigation immediately.
