Lusaka Signs Performance Contract, Commits to Accountability

In a move aimed at enhancing service delivery and accountability, Governor Kenneth Lusaka has today signed performance contracts for the 2024/2025 financial year with members of his executive.

The event, held at the County Auditorium, saw CECMs,chief officers and directors sign performance contracts.

In his address, Governor Lusaka emphasized the importance of innovation, adaptability, and sustainability in public service.

He highlighted the county’s rich cultural and natural heritage and called on leaders to leverage these assets for economic development.

The performance contracts, he noted, represent a commitment to transparency and accountability, ensuring that the county’s resources are used effectively to benefit all residents.

The Governor outlined ambitious goals for the coming year, including boosting the economy, preserving cultural heritage, promoting health and trade, and ensuring sustainable water supply. He called for collaboration among government departments, local communities, and international partners to achieve these objectives.

In closing, Governor Lusaka urged all involved to remember that the contracts signed are a promise to the people of Bungoma. He expressed his hope that the county will serve as a model for development across the nation.

Present during the function included county assembly members, the Public Service Board, and the business community.
